A Smarter Way To Charge

Electric vehicles are rapidly reshaping mobility, yet charging remains a key friction point unpredictable availability, and fragmented user experiences. GreenLight addresses this by combining real-time data with intelligent planning. Its AI-powered platform predicts charger availability, suggests optimal routes, and adapts to user behavior over time. GreenLight empowers EV drivers to plan with confidence and charge without stress.

Process

Research, Wireframing & Prototyping

Like all my other projects, I started with research, luckily there was no short of research and inspiration from me to take from. What initially started as a platform for users to be able to find available EV chargers as the opportunity to rent out their home EV charging station quickly became a subscription based model for EV chargers where you are always guaranteed a charge with peace of mind.

After research I moved onto creating a user flow and sketching out ideas, even though there was a lot of directions I could have taken that platform in, I felt that I had a rough idea of what I wanted the platform to be and work. With my sketches done I quickly moved into Figma in order to turn my sketches and ideas into some tangible UI screens.

Outcome

A Final Look

This was a product that I feel could go far and make waves while becoming a must have platform for EV drivers. It tackles a real pain points with clarity, simplicity, and purpose. The subscription model makes it even more different to what's currently on the market. The designs are different, clean and focuses on the user experience which is exactly what was needed.
